FaceTite Q & A

What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is a non-surgical treatment for skin laxity, fine lines, and facial wrinkles. The FaceTite device delivers gentle waves of radiofrequency energy deep into your skin. Dr. Manolakakis makes a tiny incision in your skin and inserts the FaceTite probe through it. The probe emits energy that warms your tissues and causes them to tighten and contract.

The entire procedure takes 30-60 minutes in total. The process is comfortable because Dr. Manolakakis uses a local anesthesia to numb your treatment areas beforehand. The device measures the temperature of your tissues in real-time to make sure that they don’t overheat.

What are the results of treatment with FaceTite?

FaceTite treats a number of appearance flaws associated with skin laxity. You can target nearly any area on or around your face that has loose skin or an excess of wrinkles after years of aging. One or more treatments with FaceTite can make a difference for the following facial features.

  • Nasolabial folds
  • Wrinkles around the eyes
  • Jowls
  • Double chin
  • Turkey neck
  • Forehead wrinkles
  • Frown lines between the brows

Dr. Manolakakis helps you design your treatment plan to target each wrinkled or sagging area on your face or neck that could benefit from the treatment.  He might also recommend other treatments, like dermal fillers, for a more complete result.

Am I a good candidate for FaceTite?

FaceTite works well as a treatment for mild or moderate skin laxity and wrinkles around the face and neck. If you have these features and feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about them, Dr. Manolakakis can help you decide if FaceTite is your best option for treatment. For severe wrinkles, he might suggest a facelift surgery instead.

FaceTite is a gentle procedure and is safe for all skin types, tones, and textures. It’s a great option for treatment if you want to avoid injections or surgery. Of course, before any treatment, you should sit down for an in-depth consultation with Dr. Manolakakis at Advanced Facial Surgery about your health history and goals. If he decides that another treatment is better suited to meet your needs, he can describe your options to you.
